2015 IN BRIEF
Key events in 2015 include the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Brazilian authorities (CGU and AGU), resulting in an invitation to tender from Petrobras. The year marked significant funding events with the project financing of FPSO Cidade de Saquarema and divestment of a 45% share in FPSO Turritella bringing in Joint Venture partners; the partnership obtained a project loan for the vessel.
A tangible example of SBM Offshore’s continued commitment to sustainability was the reduction in emissions.
